This Saturday is a great opportunity to visit a local landmark and enjoy some football at the same time. As the Miami Hurricanes pass the halfway mark in their 2007 football schedule, including this home game against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, we’re looking at only three more games at the Orange Bowl.

The Hurricanes first played at the OB back in 1937. Miami has also won three national championships on that field, along with having an NCAA record 58-game winning streak from 1985 through 1994. Next season the Canes will move to Dolphin Stadium, where fans can use all the fancy amenities. But old-school Canes will always keep the OB, the sketchy neighborhood parking, and the scent of overpriced arepas in their hearts. So make your way to the ol’ Orange Bowl before it’s too late, and wear your sunscreen -- the game starts at noon.
