In Atlanta, Chicago, D.C., and New York, the name Glynn Jackson is synonymous with two things: amazing hair and events. In case you didn’t know, Jackson has been putting together incredible hair and fashion shows for a quarter-century. And for the first time, the popular pageant producer is bringing a show to the 305. Ladies, primp, preen, and prepare to compete for the title of 2007 Sensationnel Hair Idol.

“Miami is a new market for us. There’s been quite a few shows here, but nothing on the level of what we do. This event is about sensational women of all races and sizes. It’s about acknowledging beauty and giving back to our community,” Jackson says. Besides promoting beauty and self-esteem, the pageant raises funds for anti-violence and breast cancer charities. Do you think you’ve got what it takes to vie for $25,000 in cash and prizes? Do you wear hair extensions from the popular Sensationnel product line? Are you fly, fierce, fabulous, or all of the above? Models and stylists should visit www.sensationnel.com for contest rules and regulations. If you want to attend this free spectacular, send your name and e-mail address to vip@sensationnel.com and they’ll e-mail you a free printable ticket. First come, first served. Doors open at 6:00 p.m., and the show begins at 7:00 at the James L. Knight Center.
Sun., Sept. 16, 6 p.m.
