Nothing makes you throw your hands up and say “I deserve a good meal, an inviting atmosphere, and maybe some good lovin’” like a daunting workweek. By Thursday, your body is probably screaming for a pick-me-up. Tonight Touch Restaurant and Lounge provides just that. Beginning with a complimentary cocktail reception from 8:00 to 10:00, the weekly Love the Locals event promises to please. The cocktails switch every week, and attendees have thus far enjoyed mojitos one week, martinis the next.

The complimentary cocktails are available only Thursdays, and to sweeten the deal, Touch is also in the throes of Miami Spice. The eatery’s $35 prix fixe menu includes appetizers like passion-fruit-glazed prawn and scallops, entrées such as grilled Alaskan salmon, and desserts including a cherry bread pudding that just might be the next best thing to an orgasm. The affordable deliciousness continues through September. Call 305-532-8002 to make reservations, and visit www.touchrestaurant.com.
