Obama for Loose Change

Published on August 23, 2007

The 2008 presidential election is still more than a year away, but the campaign trail is already buzzing. Whether they love him or hate him, Americans want to know more about Barack Obama. He’s something like a rock star, gracing the covers of magazines and inspiring hot chicks to pen songs in his honor.

But not even his undeniable good looks, charm, and semichiseled body have distracted America from the real issues. Elephants, donkeys, and independents alike want to know Obama’s stance on education, health care, gay marriages, yadda yadda yadda. Whether you’re wondering about his position on immigration laws or simply wondering if he’s really that hot in person, he’ll be at Club Mansion tonight from 6:00 to 9:00 for an event benefiting Obama for Change. He’ll be speaking about the issues and getting clubgoers and celebrity guests hyped about politics. Now that’s what we call rocking the vote. Tickets cost $100, $25 for students. Ages 21 and older are welcome. RSVP at www.my.barackobama.com/gbomiami. Call 305-442-7464 or e-mail FLFinance@barackobama.com for more info.
Sat., Aug. 25, 6-9 p.m.
