Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

When a bar names itself The Bar, patrons come to expect a standard of quality: cheap drinks, good food, fun times. The owners of The Bar deliver all of that, but in a constant effort to give the people something fresh and fun, the owners offer funky themed evenings destined to get drinkers packing the place to the gills. The latest addition to The Bar’s roster of events is the Tuesday-night Drink Exchange, a boozy bar game that works like the stock market. “The screen will show five items at a time. Every ten minutes the prices of those drinks will reset according to what people are buying. Then we have the market crash when all the prices drop,” says bar manager Domingo.

Tonight dudes who are looking to mack on fun-loving chicks can officially hit the jackpot. Friday is ladies’ night, which means women drink free from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. We’re talkin’ well drinks and Yuengling on draft. “Fridays here are crazy! Everyone who works in an office or restaurant in the Gables comes by. We also typically do drink promos. Last week the rep from Miller Lite came in and bought free beers for everyone. Anything can happen,” Domingo adds. Sounds great! Now excuse us while we leave work early.
