This summer you won’t need Jenny Craig, Dr. Agatston, or Richard Simmons to cure your swimsuit angst. The truth is, a little style, a lot of moxie, and a ticket to just one of the shows during the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Miami Swim will do the trick. You’re on your own with the style and moxie, but visit www.mbfashionweek.com for a complete list of chic shows from July 10 through today.

On Friday, July 13, ladies should be front row at Shay Todd’s show. Todd, with no prompting from us, says, “No one makes a better statement than a Miami girl.” She’s right, you know? Beginning at 9:00 p.m., she’ll be showing her collection of retro-inspired suits studded with blingin’ jewels, lacquered hardware, and much attitude. Guys should make sure to grab a seat at tonight’s Parke & Ronen show at the Raleigh. At 8:00 p.m., the New York-based duo will change the face of men’s swimwear from awkward to awesome.
