Summertime, and the University of Miami campus is easy. Fish are jumpin’, and there’s nary a frat boy in sight. It’s the perfect time for a leisurely bike ride across the verdant green. Who cares if the Rathskellar and food court are practically closed? It’s an even better time to toast to the lazy, crazy, hazy days of summer school at the Lowe Art Museum for tonight’s LoweDown happy hour.

Tour guides will be offering guided tours of the permanent exhibit “Art of the Pacific Islands.” Expect to see lots of masks, textiles, and symbolic trinkets from far-flung regions like Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands. After you feast your eyes, you can quench your thirst with a special caipirinha-tasting by PAMA Spirits, and a full bar provided by Bacardi. Besides that, there will be live music and desserts!
