The Neighborhood’s Favorite

Celebrate twenty years of Deli Lane

It’s a popular misconception that South Miami’s SW 59th Avenue is actually called Deli Lane. The cute cobblestone street (within walking distance from the Shops at Sunset Place) has become the epicenter of the neighborhood’s hip and happening bar and restaurant scene. But Deli Lane isn’t a street; it’s a well-loved café and tavern that has successfully anchored the district’s nightlife for twenty years. “South Miami has always had a little downtown business area, but it was a very sleepy place when we opened. There were only six or seven other restaurants at the time, and now there’s over 40!” declares Deli Lane co-owner Jan Kirchoff. She credits its longevity to dedication, hands-on hard work, and passion.

To celebrate twenty years of yummy, Deli Lane is hosting a fabulous anniversary party tonight. Guests can partake in free samples of roughly half the items on the enormous 80-item menu, as well as enjoy wine, live music by the Rudolfo Cuniga Quintet, and raffle prizes including salon services and Pilates classes. It’s all happening from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Deli Lane. sign up for the mailing list at www.delilane.com.
Wed., June 6, 5-9 p.m.
