It’s always disappointing when you buy tickets to go see your favorite baseball team, only to have them lose. But regardless of who loses the Florida Marlins/New York Mets ball game tonight, fans can cheer up to the infectious tempo of salsa. Puerto Rican salsa pioneers El Gran Combo will be performing at Dolphin Stadium as the fourth Florida Marlins Super Saturday concert.

Their postgame performance will be led by pianist and musical director Rafael Ithier. Four decades after their inception, the thirteen-piece group continues to be one of Puerto Rico’s most loved dance bands. As part of the Super Saturdays fun, fans can enjoy pre-game parties at the Strike Zone at Gate H featuring live DJs, celebrity appearances, marching bands, Billy the Marlin, the Mermaids, and special giveaways.
