As said in the white-hot movie Backdraft, “The funny thing about firemen is, night and day they are always firemen.” But this afternoon, ladies, a select group of South Florida firemen will be both firemen and luscious man-meat. They’ll be peeling off the layers of that heavy uniform, shaking their moneymakers, and baring their hard bodies all in the name of charity and — as a bonus — your pleasure. But this event won’t be held at LaBare. It’s at the usually kid-friendly Parrot Jungle Island. And it’s not your girlfriend’s bachelorette party; it’s the 11th annual Secretary’s Day Luncheon, at which attendees will get to choose the sexy heroes for the 2008 South Florida Firefighters Calendar. Angela Betancourt, media and PR director of the calendar, says, “It’s going to be fun, crazy, and wild, and the women will really have a chance to let their hair down and have a good time.
