Time to get your Easter grub on

What does Easter Sunday mean to you? Is it a sacred day to celebrate the ressurection of Jesus Christ, or a time to hide chocolate eggs and give your little ones a sugar rush to rival Halloween? Is it just another excuse to indulge in festive indulgence? How’s about all three? Regardless of your religion, there’s no denying today’s culinary prospects. Today is also a great day to check out Table 8 at the Regent South Beach Hotel (1458 Ocean Dr., Miami Beach). Executive chef Govind Armstrong has devised a seasonal $50 prix fixe menu, and guests have until April 10 to check out his savory delights. If we were to attend, we’d start with the roasted sunchoke and pear soup with blue cheese crostini, move on to the Kobe beef, and then sit back and wait for the chef’s inspired dessert of choice.
