The skinny leg pant trend has left the building, and guess what’s on it’s way in? High-waisted, bell-bottomed pants a la Jan and Marcia Brady, which, FYI, are universally more flattering than the stovepipe cuts of last season. The revolving door of fashion trends slows for no one. One way to catch a sneak peek of what’s to come is to adopt your haughtiest strut and go to the Flamingo South Beach for Gen Art’s Fresh Faces in Fashion 2007 show.

This very show has launched the careers of several current big-name designers like Zac Posen, Louis Verdad, Rebecca Taylor, and Chaiken. This year’s show will feature seven of the year’s hottest up-and-coming designers, who will showcase their designs in a runway show and accessory showcase. The fashion extravaganza will be held with the amazing Biscayne Bay as a backdrop. The Biore-sponsored show starts at 8:00 p.m. and ends with a postshow reception that will run until 11:00 p.m.
