If Las Vegas is affectionately known as Sin City, then Miami’s moniker should surely be Skin City. A typical stroll along Ocean Drive will reveal more bared legs, abs, and boobs than a prudish tourist can handle. Miamians just love to soak up the sun, and with solar exposure comes the risk of skin damage. Local beauty emporium GBS is coming to the rescue with skin care month, which brings an overflowing bounty of events and promotions that will help local beauties take care of their most visible asset.

Each week brings a new product line to the forefront, and high-end skin care brands including Phyto, Ahava, and Murad all get their moments in the clinical spotlight. Today Babor Cosmetics is the featured line, and the GBS girls will be offering complimentary consultations, skin analyses, and tons of free samples of Babor’s fancy-schamcy serums, lotions, and cleansers. Yippee! The luxurious fun takes place from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at GBS Aventura.
