Pudgy legs poking out from underneath polka dot miniskirts. Hairy toes and claws painted shades of red. What’s the occasion? The Shelley Novak awards are on Wednesday, but today is Dogs on the Catwalk. (We kid, Shelley! We kid). And unlike the cookie-cutter models at this month’s New York Fashion Week, there will be plus-sized pugs and strong-bodied greyhounds alongside the super-slim chihuahuas. After the fashion show there will be a grooming workshop to teach you how to make your pooch feel oh so pretty. And since your friends always tell you that you and your yorkie Sasha look just alike (whatev, you wish you were that cute!), how ´bout entering the look-a-like contest and seeing for sure? There’ll also be a splash pool, an obedience workshop, and an agility demo.
