Gluttons beware! Today’s best meal deal comes with a catch: You’ll have to cook your food before you can eat it during two outstanding hands-on cooking classes. The 11:00 a.m. class takes place at Two Chefs, where you’ll learn the intricacies of Cooking With Spirits. Lobster bisque with cognac, poached shrimp with Bloody Mary sauce, and dry apricot-stuffed chicken roulade with dark rum are among the dishes featured at today’s lunch. The class costs $85; call 305- 663-2100.

Remember to let the alcohol cook off thoroughly before driving over to the Miami Jewish Home & Hospital (5200 NE 2nd Ave., Miami) for the 7:30 p.m. You Don’t Have To Be Jewish To Love Kosher Cooking class. There you’ll find out how creative one can get while still following kashrut laws. Cooking demonstrations include ice sculpting and sushi-rolling. Entertainment follows. Proceeds at this class benefit the home. Beginners are welcome at both classes. The Kosher class is a bargain at only $70. Call Judy Fisher at 305-762-1462 to RSVP.
