The nightclub formerly known as Slak Lounge/Two Last Shoes has been revamped and revived. After being closed for some time, the downtown venue is making a comeback under the name Circa28. Once the location of the long-running Revolver party and underground shindig FM, it will now be home to Circa Saturdays. Expect to hear indie and retro beats by DJs Charles Parker, Ray Milian, Johnnylove, Lolo, and guests. Patrons can chill downstairs with a cocktail and smooth down-tempo music, or wiggle around on the second floor at the all-out dance party. Tonight get your funk on with a special set by DJ Le Spam. Drink specials will be available. If you’re still in doubt, promoter and DJ Lauren Reskin (a.k.a. Lolo) sets things straight: "I've been around for the indie club scene since its birth, and I want to do a really friendly night that will appeal to a wide range of people."
