Super Bowl weekend is to football-fanatical guys what tax-free week is to shopaholic women: a few days of Shangri-La. And sometimes, just sometimes, there’s an event where both sexes can experience this bliss. One of those events is Off the Field’s sixth annual Players’ Wives Fashion Extravaganza, hosted by Patricia Smith, wife of NFL legend and Dancing with the Stars alum Emmitt Smith; and actress Wendy Raquel Robinson of CW Network’s The Game. While the ladies ooh and aah at the fashion show and shop at the silent auction led by 99 Jamz’s effervescent on-air personality K. Foxx, the guys can mingle with some of the NFL’s most valuable players. Proceeds will benefit Miami Children’s Hospital Foundation and Total Renaissance Woman. The silent auction, with breakfast, begins at 9:30 a.m., and the fashion show begins at 10:00 a.m.
