Miami is a staple party city for the gay community. Men who love men and women who love women flock to famously alternative-lifestyle-friendly South Beach. But just like the venues popping up in downtown and Wynwood, an unassuming contender is luring gay patrons to the mainland with promises of an inviting setting and good music. Little Havana is not known for its party scene, but Anam’s is seeing to that. Every Thursday through Saturday the nightclub hosts Gay and Lesbian Night. Imbibers can enjoy the best of salsa, reggaeton, merengue, disco, and more. Thursdays and Fridays the party starts early with a happy hour at 6:00. Thursdays feature beer-bucket specials and two-for-one house wines, while Budweiser fans can enjoy two-for-ones all night Fridays.
