Alcohol is sometimes called liquid courage. After a few shots or beers, stage fright just melts away, along with sobriety. This is where the fun of karaoke comes in. Patrons who are usually meek and quiet emerge from their shells to let everyone know how much they really love Michael Bolton by singing “How Am I Supposed to Live Without You.” It takes some serious cojones -- or some serious alcohol -- to admit that kind of love. Congratulate these wannabe balladeers on their boldness at Underground Wonder Bar Karaoke at the Colony Hotel every Thursday through Saturday. Get chummy with other bar patrons by buying them a drink; just don’t let them find out that booze is two-for-one and that the cocktail you ordered for them was actually free. The singing begins at 9:00 p.m., and admission is free. Call 305-673-6776.
