Gertrude Stein, Ernest Hemingway, and Ezra Pound had their atelier at 24 Rue de Fleurus in Paris in the Twenties. Andy Warhol and his gang had Studio 54 in New York in the Seventies. Supremus Roots have Miami in December. Okay, these locals aren’t famous yet, but they are hoping to create a network of all types of artists to share, collaborate, and promote the arts in South Florida. This is a chance to take all of that pent-up inspiration from Art Basel and turn it into something concrete. Comprising a designer, a music enthusiast, and an event planner, the group is hosting its bimonthly event tonight at 8:30 at Soya & Pomodoro. All artists -- musicians, poets, painters, photographers, and performance artists -- are welcome.
