If you happen to drive by the Miami Children’s Museum tonight and notice Batman cavorting with the Green Arrow in the parking lot, don’t worry: Those “hallucinations” belong to Halloween Miami 2006, SAVE Dade’s annual costume party. (SAVE Dade was formed in 1993 to protect gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender individuals from discrimination.) This year’s theme happens to be Superheroes Hit the Beach. As well as battling in a costume contest, some superheroes will be knocking back drinks and flying high to music provided by DJ Q-Ban. Should you see a supervillain, though, please report him immediately. Tickets cost $45, but if you are superfabulous, you’ll probably want the $150 VIP tickets. The party lasts from 9:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. The costume contest takes place at midnight. Sorry, but all children must be at least 21 years of age. Call 305-751-SAVE, or visit www.halloweenmiami.com and www.savedade.org.
