The Kendall native's album Imperfect/Imperfecta, a mostly Spanish-language album penned by this young star, takes risks and explores a variety of genres. Following in Shakira's footsteps, JD Natasha plans to reach wider audiences with a soon-to-be-released English-language album. — Rayme Samuels

JD Natasha performs at the Latina Magazine Nation Tour, which takes place from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, October 14, and Sunday, October 15, at Bicentennial Park, 1075 Biscayne Blvd, Miami. The event is free and open to the public. Visit www.latina.com for more information.
