In a city like Miami, it is entirely possible to forget that some of our most popular dishes are imported. Spanish tapas have become so popular here that just about every sit-down restaurant offers some variation of the small-plate delicacies. Now the Ritz-Carlton South Beach has joined the fun by offering Tapas & Tinis, an irresistible combination of Miami favorites that mixes indigenous Spanish zest with American crowd pleasers. Dishes include patatas bravas, a crisp basket of fries served with salsa; corn dogs de chorizo y tinto, spiced with paprika and roasted garlic; and chicken wings served with blue cheese cream.

“This new menu seemed like a natural fit here on South Beach, because people aren’t looking to fill up on a heavy meal, and they’re always looking for cool new drinks,” explains public relations manager Jennifer Greenspan. Those beverages include the refreshing lemongrass martini, a spicy ginger-tini, and the delectable white chocolate martini, made with Grey Goose, Godiva liqueur, and Bailey’s Irish Cream -- yum.
