One of last year's biggest hip-hop beefs occurred between celebrity mogul Diddy and reggaeton's leading man, Tego Calderón. It all began gently enough when Diddy offered Tego the opportunity to be the official fashion model for his new fall line of clothing. The catch was that Puffy was willing to pay Tego only $2000 for the whole campaign. Feeling slighted, Tego declined the offer and publicly chastised Diddy for using Central American sweatshops to manufacture his high-end fashion threads. The usual war of words ensued, but the feud seems to be in the past, for Tego and Diddy will be performing at this year's free NFL Opening Kickoff concert on South Beach. The lineup also includes Ozomatli, Yung Joc, and Cassie. Plan on arriving early: Local favorite Tego will be premiering songs from his new album, The Underdog, and if previous Miami appearances are any indication, he could create quite a ruckus among his numerous fans.
