We Want Pancakes

By Lyssa Oberkreser

Published on September 07, 2006

We are happy to spend our Sundays in our pajamas, drinking coffee, and reading the New York Times with our honey. That is until he starts nudging us with his toe while making that pouty-lip face and murmuring pancakes. Since he knows we reserve our spatula usage for bedroom spankings, we are going to have to get our pancakes on the outside. Lucky for us, there’s always Sunday Brunch at Nikki Beach. From 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., you can stuff yourself with fluffy pancakes, homemade pastries, and omelets, and wash it all down with fabulous cocktails. After brunch, you can stay for Nikki’s famous all-day party, Amazing Sundays. Resident DJs Patrick M and Armand Pena will keep the festive vibe alive while “interactive entertainers” and dancers keep you from falling into a carb-loaded coma. (You can always reserve a VIP bed if you can’t resist the urge.) Call 305-538-1111, or visit www.nikkibeach.com.
