Let Them Drink Grapes

Tippling vino is not the best thing for diabetics, but when wine bottles are uncorked at the fifteenth annual Feast Among the Grapes, the “hangover” is a blessing. Live music and dancing serve as a backdrop to what local trend-makers have called the “hippest happy hour.” More important, proceeds from the soiree will benefit the Diabetes Research Institute. Leading enological magazine Wine Spectator will present the fermented offerings of nearly 30 different vintners as well as tasty treats from some of the finest restaurants in town. Once the purse strings are lubricated, a silent auction will begin. Participating restaurants include 3030 Ocean Restaurant, Carlton’s Restaurant and Lounge, Crêpe Maker, Joanna’s Marketplace, Neomi’s Grill at Trump International Sonesta Beach Resort, North 110, Perricone’s Marketplace, Schakolad Chocolate Factory, Shula’s Steakhouse at the Alexander Hotel, The Forge, Tropical Chinese Restaurant, and others.
