Readers of Self magazine make up a healthy and happy demographic, thanks to the monthly glossy’s seemingly endless supply of useful, fitness-related information. Finally local readers can make some of those jaw-dropping photo spreads come to life at the Self Workout in the Park. Now that Miami has been named the third fittest city by the popular mag, the event is coming to beautiful Lummus Park. The day will begin with the Mind, Body, Beauty Breakfast. Visitors can receive freebies, meet editors, and benefit from skincare and hair color consultations. Breakfast tickets cost $25 and include admission to the workout. Then get ready to sweat with a range of fun routines, including Cardio Striptease, Kardio Katami Sports Conditioning, Ballroom Blitz, and Retrorobics.
