Katt Williams looks and talks like a cartoon pimp. With permed hair and a nasal drawl, he is often favorably compared to Eddie Griffin at his best, Chris Tucker before he found Jesus, and Michael Jackson. Williams made high profile music video cameos as the fey gigolo in Outkast’s “Roses,” and as Lil’ Kim’s Greek chorus in “Shut Up, Bitch.” Lately he’s been adding laughs to Nick Cannon’s MTV show Wild ’N Out, and his animated appearance on The Boondocks — as A Pimp Named Slickback — is alleged to be leading to a film with Aaron McGruder. Tonight Williams will roll through Miami to promote his star studded comedy/hip hop album It’s Pimpin’, Pimpin’. Catch him tonight at 8:00 at the Jackie Gleason Theater. Tickets range from $37 to $47. Call 305-358-5885, or visit www.gleasontheater.com.
