More About
Sea bunny is usually just a cute name for a sea slug, but in spring it can mean the Easter Bunny might be hiding his eggs in the ocean again. Capt. Spencer Slate who, by the way, has never been photographed in the same room with the Easter Bunny hosts the annual egg dive hunt at the Atlantis Dive Center. The event benefits Kids in Special Situations, which provides gifts and cheer to the areas needy children. Check-in is 8:30 a.m. Although the hunt is free, a $60 dive charter fee still applies. On Saturday, the Chesapeake Resort and Rainbow Reef (Mile Marker 83.4, Islamorada) offer an early-morning dive class that allows you to participate alongside a certified instructor during a hunt.
