Cutting-edge culture organization Gen Art has earned a reputation for always being one step ahead of the Zeitgeist. Miami’s mavens and sartorial gurus should get ready to take notes at this year’s Fresh Faces in Fashion event, a national showcase for up-and-coming designers. Some of the fashion industry’s key players launched their careers at the creatively nurturing event. “We’ve had Zac Posen, Louis Verdad, and Shoshanna Lonstein.... Now the industry is looking to us to see who the brightest stars in the fashion world are,” says regional director Julia Brown.

Tonight at 8:00, browse an awesome display of accessories by Jennifer Zeuner, Patricia Costa, and beading queen Lauren Carina. Then ooh and aah at the latest outfits by Sarah Luna, Pelusium, Ecliptica, Uli Herzner, and Tomer. Swimsuit designer Mia will display seductive versions of the South Beach uniform when stunning, bikini-clad models sashay down a runway stretched over the rippling blue pool at the Surfcomber Hotel. “The venue really highlights these designers in the most exciting way.
