If you are the only one on your block who has not been to a winetasting, you can jump in and start swilling tonight when AV Grill and Wine Bar, in conjunction with National Distributing Company, presents A Taste of Spain wine and tapas event. At press time Chef Alex Lopez had not yet decided which of his tapas he will whip up, but he did offer this fine wine list: Torre la Moreira Albariño, Viña Mayor Gran Reserva, Campillo Crianza, Secastilla Somontano, and Plus Seven Priorat. Each sampling will be accompanied by a short lecture about the wines and regions of Spain. Take a trip to the Spanish vineyards. Seating is limited. Call, or e mail avgrillpress@yahoo.com to reserve your spot.
