Afterglo. Relaxed Dinner at Afterglo: Celebrate New Years at Afterglo Restaurant, where there is no cover charge or price fixed menu for those dining. Dinner reservations begin as early as 6 p.m. and as late as 1 a.m. Diners can choose their own seating time and choose both appetizers and entrées a la carte from the full menu created by executive chef Michael Schwartz. Start at Bayside Marketplace with shopping, dining, and free entertainment, then head south to Bayfront Park Amphitheater for a free concert starting at 8 p.m., and count down to midnight with the Big Orange. This New Years Eve icon will slowly ascend the side of The Hotel Intercontinental, reaching the top at midnight in conjunction with a grand display of fireworks. The fireworks display, over beautiful Biscayne Bay, can be viewed from anywhere in Bayfront Park and Bayside Marketplace. Performing will be disco favorites Rose Royce and France Joli, along with Colombian artist Ciclon and Miamis own Betty Padget and Elements of Funk. Bizcaya. Latin Año Nuevo: Enjoy a four-course gourmet dinner featuring flavors from South Americas premier cities and Chef Alfredo Patiños classic cuisine.
