"We want to bring the pages of the magazine to life for our readers," says Brent Williams, marketing director for InStyle magazine. This is the fourth annual Inside InStyle event, the first three held in Chicago's Lincoln Park. "We had about 4000 attendees a day in Chicago," Williams says. "But what was lacking in Chicago was the heat and sexiness." Well, Miami certainly has plenty of both of those qualities. And Chicago is still pretty darn chilly this time of year. Besides, "Miami is fun and glamorous," Williams adds.

Pieces of April's issue will be showcased at the event: "The öBest Beauty Buys' features the favorite products of our beauty editors, and the öClothes We Love' will take you through the trends of spring and summer," says Williams. Guests will be able to indulge in spa treatments, shopping, hair and beauty consultations, and giveaways. Runway shows will feature designs from Guess, Steve Madden, Michael Stars, and O Oscar, Oscar de la Renta's low-end line of clothing similar in price and quality to Isaac Mizrahi's pieces at Target.

But what everyone really wants to know is: Will there be gift bags? "Oh, yes," says Williams. "It's all about the gift bags, isn't it?"
