Tiefschwarz (Ali and Basti Schwarz of Stuttgart, Germany) are long-time favorites of Chicago house guru Derrick Carter (who has released an album and several singles from the brothers), sharing his love for crafting cheeky and irrepressibly booty-shaking club hits and DJing in fashionable spots around the world. This release includes a mix of dark electro, cheese-free house, and even industrial grooves from the likes of Derrick May and Severed Heads; and a disc of remixes of tracks by Trüby Trio, DJ Hell, and several other underground artists. Misch Maschis an exciting alternative to all those dispassionate DJ mixes with predictable pay-to-play track listings.
