Yes, New Year's Eve is a great time to get wasted, make promises you won't keep, et cetera. Why not get down to some great dance music while you're at it? After her high-water mark as an R&B/pop princess in the mid-Nineties, Deborah Cox has remade herself as a house diva, belting out hits such as "Play Your Part." As one-half of the production team Rosabel, DJ Abel has produced a string of hits himself, most notably the sassily omnipresent "Cha Cha Heels." Hopefully the staff at the James L. Knight Center will take out the auditorium's rows of seats for this party; everyone will need plenty of dancing room.
