Pups called me up, said it's a condo party

Years of Chateaubriand and crème brûlée are bound to take their toll on your arteries, which is why Jacques Pepin is pushing aside the heavy French cuisine and teaming with his daughter Claudine to talk about healthy, low- cholesterol cooking. Jacques and Claudine Pepin have joined cardiologist Dr. Theodore Feldman and dietitian Maye Musk for a new informational cooking program called Mixing It Up: How Facts, Family, and Culinary Creations Can impact Cholesterol. But would the late Julia Child approve of her former colleague's transformation? (Shh! Don't tell Claudine, but her dad's Website,, still has plenty of recipes for when you want to be bad and eat something fattening and naughty.) Recipe tips and light refreshments will be served during tonight's free cooking demonstration and cholesterol health discussion, from 6:00 to 7:30 at the Omni Colonnade Hotel, 180 Aragon Ave. Call 866-745-3620 or visit (LO)
