Rock vs. Art III

It's not every day you can listen to more than twenty live bands and DJs, watch visual artists at work, drink beer, and register to vote, all in the same place. This weekend, Rock vs. Art III, a two-day music, art, and political activism event, comes to Churchill's Pub in Little Haiti. Some of the folks who will be there, mixing it up in true multimedia style, include the Creepy T's, the Remnants, A.C. Cobra, the Heatseekers, Charlie Pickett, and Two Story Doublewide; DJs Thrift and Scotty Upton; sculptor Jody Johnson; and painters Heather Blackmon and Carlos Rodriguez.
