Amateur golfers compete for the "privilege" of buying a ticket to the Playboy Mansion golf blowout to be held in Los Angeles. Local girls get a chance to scrap for a free ride to the same celeb-friendly party. Winning women, though, won't be wielding irons.This year's presiding queen of festivities is Miss March 2003 Pennelope Jimenez. The prime Playmate can be ogled often throughout the 4-day event, which begins Tuesday with a registration soiree at Joia. There golfers can weigh whether they're willing to shell out the $2500 for a bona fide Playmate caddie. Tee-off is Friday at noon at the Biltmore Hotel, 1200 Anastasia Ave., Coral Gables. Golaso!Neighborhood soccer heats upSUN 12/14

There is some pretty darn good soccer being played in the parks of Miami-Dade County. Certain hoods represent home countries where the sport has been a part of family lore as much as a great-aunt's goiter. It's the Copa Latina Qualifier Tournament, a local homage to the best sport in the world. The Nicaraguans who play in Fontainebleau will be taking on the Colombians from Kendale Lakes. The Haitians of North Miami will challenge the Hondurans from Edgewater. It's our own little World Cup. Registration deadline is today at Amelia Earhart Park, 401 E. 65th St., Hialeah.
