If amiable, silver-haired folkie Jack Williams ever ends up at your house as a guest, you may want to keep him away from the guitars. Don't worry: He's not going to play rock star and smash your collection of Precious Moments figurines to bits with your Fender Strat or your Gibson Les Paul. And he's not going to slink out the door with them and take them straight to the pawn shop either. It's just that when Williams, who has graced stages all over the world for the last 40 years, picks up a guitar, he's loath to put it down. As you sit back and listen to him pluck out a tune or 20, you won't mind. It's the neighbors who might be calling the cops as the tireless crooner strums and strums into the wee hours! FRI 11/28 Super-duper brother-sister duo Pimpinela have for more than 20 years set the pop standards in their native Argentina. With her flashy red hair and voluptuous bod, Lucia Galan wins over her audiences. Backing her up and right on key is her hirsute bro Joaquin. Together they produce the kind of feel-good romantic stuff that dreams are made of. With more than a dozen albums behind them, you can chart how the pair have morphed with the times. Today Lucia looks mucho mod and Joaquin is sporting that Barry Gibb man of the world kind of look. Whatever it may be, Argentineans love them. They will share the bill with superstar love singer Dyango. The concert starts at 8:00 p.m. at the Jackie Gleason Theater, 1700 Washington Ave., Miami Beach. Tickets range from $25 to $69. Anti-Potato Rock FRI 11/28 What's a holiday celebration without the Bored Shitless Fest? In a further adventure of sonic mayhem at Miami's favorite rock music club, 14 bands, each playing 15-minute sets for the ADD crowd, are crammed into 4 hours of stage time. Local acts Humbert and Needle will be there, as well as Aussie imports DJ Smallcock (!) and Peeled Hearts. The latter give our beloved Laundry Room Squelchers a run for their obnoxious-noise money; they'll be on hand at the end in case last call goes unheeded.
