Twat Rocker

Doria Roberts doesn't fuck around

Last summer Doria Roberts appeared on the cover of lesbian magazine Velvet Park and proclaimed herself a "pissed-off, rock and roll, dyke-nigger bitch." Following the self-made folkstresses who've come before her, she owns her own label, works the festival circuit, and tours constantly. Lesbians, lock up your girlfriends. This lean, mean folk-blues machine -- who has been compared with Tracy Chapman, Ani DiFranco, and Woody Guthrie -- comes to West Palm Beach strapped and ready to strum alongside slam poet Staceyann Chin and local favorite the Diane Ward Band.
