Todd Brandt's Five Makes Thirteenshows an austere family of purplish-blue painted glass tubes, mimicking a futurist world. His four dotted plaster pieces -- After Circus, Green Pattern, Posted Pattern, and Tricks --are charming ciphers, simulating random patterns of computer code and looking like the prize contests in the back of Wire magazine, those images that leave most people clueless as to the high-tech gear they're looking at.
