One waiter may have had difficulty with the language, but he and the rest of the staff were professionally mannered and sharp; they refilled our water glasses so quickly that it appeared as though we weren't drinking any. The kitchen is fast at putting out the food as well -- too fast, as on both visits our main courses arrived just as the appetizer plates were being cleared. Tasca Lisboa has its flaws, but until I actually make it to Portugal, it will do quite nicely.
