Worthwhile Purchase of the Week: The White Party: Continuous Club Mix, a compilation offering by the local label StreetBeat, a subsidiary of Pandisc. The 70-minute CD features South Beach DJ whiz David Knapp's ace remixes of club hits by the likes of Donna Summer ("Melody of Love"), Shawn Christopher ("Another Sleepless Night"), and Loleatta Holloway and the late Dan Hartman ("Love Sensation"). Even better, the proceeds from sales of the disc will benefit the Health Crisis Network, Dade County's community-based AIDS service organization. The Network's annual White Party fundraiser will be held December 1 at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens.
