"My attitude is the money is not lost, it was invested," exclaims an unphased Rodolfo, whose own band Rockmantica did perform at the event. "Companies all the time invest millions of dollars just to get their name out and there is that possibility of never making it back. As a businessman, I see it as a total success. We did it against all odds. One or two groups got soured because of their own attitudes, but I think we had something good going on there."

The Jonathan Kreisberg Trio are having a record-release party Friday, September 13, for their self-titled debut disc, issued on bATbOY Music. The shebang will be held at One Night Stan's, 2333 Hollywood Blvd., Hollywood. Showtime is 9:00 p.m. The trio -- fleshed out with bassist Javier Carrion and drummer Vincent Verderame -- is guitarist Kreisberg's moonlight gig: The hotshot jazz/fusion player full-times with local art-rockers Wyscan.
