While Carson admits he is proud of this collaborative effort and Rodgers says he sees it as "his baby out on its own," the question remains: Is the world ready for this rebirth? "We have to take a long look," Rodgers says, "at where music is going. It's gotten away from the soul. We need to take a step back to move forward."
