Washington Square comes out of the dark with a live CD
The point is to get the music out there, and while Live at the Square #2 will not, in all likelihood, win over even one percent of the folks who braved the crowds for a chance to sit a few hundred feet from the stage and watch the giant-screen simulcast on the Dolphins' home field, it will at least give participants some marketable product and a shot at a little exposure beyond the Dade County line. It will also give fans and other interested parties a decent chronicle of the Miami original rock scene circa late '92. It will not knock "Coming Out of the Dark" off of the charts.
And as for Madonna's whereabouts during the Hurricane Relief ordeal, can't we just drop the issue once and for all? Just because she bought a mansion on Brickell after shooting a bunch of steamy photos for her bare-all book doesn't mean she owes South Florida anything. Besides, she had more important things to do.
