Given this example and those cited in "Whoppers!" it isn't hard to understand the outright moral bankruptcy of both the man and his administration. It is glaringly apparent that such consistent lies, if they are continued to be accepted by a majority of Americans, will inevitably yield dire consequences for the nation.

Let's hope during the 1992 campaign, when the president says something totally incredible, like, "Willie Mays is really Willie Horton," voters will finally give George Bush the heave-ho he so richly deserves.
